About Me

From a young age, Nancy refused to be like anyone else (evident in her past photos sporting a quirky punkrock look) while at the same time she could relate to everyone. With a strong sense of curiosity about human nature, she dreamed of either producing Hollywood movies or becoming a fashion designer.

She did end up studying fashion arts and with an acquired flare for advertising, she landed a position with the local cable television company producing her own fashion, art and dining features. People still remember her popular segment, "What’s Niagara Wearing" in which Nancy would hit the clubs and events and capture the look that regular Niagarans were sporting.

With an unfettered boldness, Nancy always had a knack for her unique methods of getting the job done, on budget, by deadline and with every detail taken care of. An example of this creativity was when she needed to cut through the red tape and get the head honcho of a large company to approve a 25-foot-tall Christmas tree so she could design a public atrium display for the holidays. After many delays, and against deadline to have the decor up in 48 hours, Nancy finally walked into a senior management meeting office dressed like a Christmas tree (complete with a wreath around her neck and her entire body trimmed in garland and lights) and started singing Christmas carols. Whether it was her zany inventiveness or the fact the executives wanted her to stop singing, it doesn’t much matter - because the giant evergreen was delivered the following day and Nancy worked around the clock to showcase a magnificent visual display.

Many clients are still impressed by Nancy’s resourcefulness. Her ingenuity can be found when virtually any obstacle is thrown her way - like the time she was organizing a massive trade show and not enough tables were delivered and there was no time to wait for more. With a little handywork and a lot of imagination, she donned a toolbelt and constructed her own tables. She’s also not afraid of getting her hand’s dirty and filling in whenever or wherever she’s needed. At a fundraising event the person hired to wear a Barney costume did not show up. Guess who was the purple dinosaur that day?

Nancy is all about teamwork too! And she’s one of those people whose team others just want to be part of. During a fashion show production she coordinated - and after having been told there was not enough time to pull off her last-minute inspiration - she recruited a few workers from the hotel’s maintenance staff and they all rolled a Harley Davidson motorcycle onto the stage within minutes of the start of the show.

One thing Nancy has never had to do was tell a client that something was impossible; (she doesn’t use the 'I' word) the request may be totally impractical or unfeasible, but it’s always possible.

Anything is possible!.
